Graphic or visual design is something I keep coming back to. Much like the other creative ventures mentioned on this site, I don’t have any formal training in it. But the process itself is incredibly enjoyable and rewarding to me.
One of the best feelings I’ve ever had came when I had a weird idea come to mind and alongside it, a deep sense of conviction that I must see it through by creating it. Thankfully, GIMP is a piece of software that is surprisingly easy to use and free, which removes a lot of potential friction between an idea being in the brain and eventually being manifested into the real world.
